First steps in IDEA
WE ALL NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE WORK ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH WE EVOLVE AND INDUCTION IS A SPECIAL MOMENT.
Upon arriving, you will be welcomed by your superior and/or the Human Resources Director.
For each new employee, we organise a week or two-week long discovery path. During this time you will be accompanied by a sponsor who will help you discover the group’s activities. He/she will be your preferred contact to answer any of your questions.
Following this induction path, the new employee is asked to write an astonishment report on the company and the work environment.

The annual progress meeting is an opportunity to take stock of the past year, to set out the areas for improvement for the coming year and accordingly to build a personalised training plan that will enable you to achieve your objectives.
The professional review, also conducted each year, is a privileged moment between employee and manager during which it possible to discuss mobility wishes, to express desires, plans and training wishes.
IDEA is committed to ensuring the development of its employees within the group and increasing their skills through training programmes adapted to each profile.
Our training rate, on average 3 times higher than the legal requirements, reflects our desire to support the personal fulfilment of our employees and the development of their technical skills.

Short or long-term mobility can be offered employees according to the desires and wishes they have expressed.
“I was hired in the Aeronautics BU as a Supply Chain Engineer at the Airbus site in Nantes at the beginning of 2018 and wanted to move up to a management role. I appreciated this collaborative group concept and the work achieved with the Team Leaders and wanted to move forward to a management position. The opportunity arose in 2019 during the start-up for General Electric in the West Multi-Industries BU. I was assigned to the task force as a Team Leader and am now the Operations Manager for this activity. The task force is a concentrate of experience gained and shared. This new position is a personal challenge allowing me to broaden my work scope.”
